Shojo Sketches

Hey bbs,

I'm trying to do a sketch study or something for Classic Shojo style, It's really a challenge for me cuz I'm not to detailed in little things on my work, I try to keep it simple, but lately I want to add more detail in hair and clothes like a Manga Artist or any artist does. So I'm challenging myself.

Any suggestions on what i should attempt next?

I dont' know the orginal artist, I saw this on a site, and thought I'd try to draw it.


I sketched this today to try and copy the style a bit..or atleast try to challange myself. The original artist for this is Claire Belton, she has her own site: Clairebelton.com Check it out, she's got some great art, she's a very talented young lady, and she truly inspires me, I wish I were as motivated as her when I was her age. She is great.
